IA100/101: Web Technologies Overview (1/2-1 day)
This seminar/workshop overviews the main Internet technologies including advanced html, CGI, JavaScript, Flash, Java, JSP, ASP, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, PHP, CSS, XML, Web Services and database access. It will also explain what features leading web tools offer to support these technologies. Web tools covered include Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Microsoft WebMatrix, Java IDEs, J2EE Application Servers.
IA110/111/112: Web Application Development (2-4 days)
These courses are designed to give an insight into Building Intranet & Internet Sites.
The courses overview topics such as Internet Structure, HTML, Java, JavaScript, JSP, PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion,
web publishing, graphic manipulation, web-hosting, file transfer and the tools of the trade.
Both client, server and combined courses are available.
IW105: Javascript for Web Developers (2 days)
This is an intensive two-day course designed to provide attendees with sufficient knowledge to incorporate Javascript into their web solutions. The course provides a reality check on Javascript, canvassing the technical issues, reasoning behind its use, and product support. Many realistic hands-on exercises illustrate and complement the up-to-date lecture content. Upon completion, attendees will be able to effectively develop thin client applications for the web using Javascript and associated web technologies.
IA132: WAP and i-mode Overview (1 day)
This course introduces WAP, a technology turning mobile phones into Internet companions. The course guides you through the process of creating software for WAP-enabled devices. You'll learn about WAP, WML, WML Script, WAP SDK's, WAP browsers, WAP and XML and build your own WAP application. Briefly covered will be emerging features such as WAP security, WAP an email, WTA and push capabilities.
IW221: Introductory Dreamweaver MX 2004 (2 days)
This course is designed for anyone beginning to use Dreamweaver MX 2004 to develop simple to intermediate web content.
It covers: the Dreamweaver User Interface/Workspace;
building basic web pages; working with colours, images and backgrounds;
working with links, tables, styles, layers, image maps, metadata,
forms and DHTML; navigation options; and introductory Site Management.
IW222: Advanced Dreamweaver MX 2004 (2 days)
This course is designed for anyone wanting to use Dreamweaver MX 2004 to develop intermediate to advanced web content.
IW223: Database-driven Websites using Dreamweaver MX 2004 (2 days)
This course is designed for anyone who needs to develop dynamic data-driven Web pages without writing the underlying program code.
